LABORATORY

The Lady Dufferin Hospital laboratory provides 24 hours emergency services for indoor and outdoor patient’s routine and special investigation with histopathology on minimal charges.
Hematology is performed on fully automated Sysmex K 21, cell TAC Nihon Khoden and cell dyne five part differentials from Abbot. For biochemistry we have two micro Lab 300 form Merck Marker and Cobas c 111 by Roche.
Hormones i.e. B-HCG, FSH, LD, Prolactin, Vit D3, Insulin level, Ferritin, Thyroid profile, HBSAG, HCVAB, HIV are performed on Cobas e 411 by Roche.
