Head of Pharmacy

Lady Dufferin Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Pharmacy to lead and oversee the pharmacy department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and providing leadership to the pharmacy team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the hospital pharmacy.
  • Conduct regular clinical rounds to ensure effective medication management and patient safety.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
  • Manage procurement, storage, and dispensing of medicines and supplies.
  • Supervise and train pharmacy staff to maintain high professional standards.
  • Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective medication management.
  • Monitor inventory and implement cost-effective strategies.

Requirements:

  • Pharm-D degree from a recognized institution (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 7–10 years of relevant hospital pharmacy experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial/supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations, drug regulations, and quality assurance.

Lab Technician (Morning Shift)

Requirements:

  • Diploma of Laboratory Technician from Sindh Medical Faculty.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant hospital laboratory experience.
  • Preferably experience in Routine and Special
  • Chemistry/Serology, Hematology & Parasitology.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency samples.

Lab Technologist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Hematology, Routine & Special chemistry,
  • Parasitology, and other laboratory tests.
  • Prepare samples, operate laboratory equipment, and ensure proper documentation of results.
  • Maintain quality control and ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with doctors and medical staff for timely reporting and urgent sample processing.
  • Ensure calibration and maintenance along with trouble shooting of laboratory equipment/ instruments.

Requirements:

  • B.Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in a tertiary care hospital or diagnostic lab.
  • Familiarity with modern lab equipment and computerized reporting systems.
  • Duly registered with the relevant professional council (if applicable).

Anesthesia Technician (Female)

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Anesthesia from Sindh Medical Faculty with I.C.U orientation having atleast 2 – 3 years of experience in a reputable hospital.

Paeds Technician

Requirements:

  • Candidate should hold a diploma in Peads from Sindh Medical Faculty with atleast 2 years’ experience of critical care unit.

Teaching Faculty / Clinical Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lectures and tutorials in accordance with the midwifery curriculum.
  • Supervise and mentor students during clinical practice in hospital and community settings.
  • Assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and support their academic growth.
  • Ensure clinical training is aligned with best practices, institutional standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with faculty members to continuously improve teaching methodologies and clinical training.

Requirements:

  • BSN or Diploma in Midwifery from a recognized institution.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with Post RN BScN, or advanced degrees in Midwifery/Nursing.
  • Valid PNC License (Mandatory).
  • Strong teaching, clinical, and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.

Senior Registrar Doctor - NICU

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical care to critically ill newborns in the NICU.
  • Conduct rounds, assess patients, and develop treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including obstetricians, pediatricians, and nurses.
  • Supervise junior doctors and medical students.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • MBBS degree with FCPS/ MRCPCH or equivalent qualification in Paediatrics.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Paediatrics.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

O.T Technician

Requirements:

  • Diploma in O.T from Sindh Medical Faculty with atleast 2 years’ experience of critical care unit.
