As part of our Pinktober (Breast Cancer Awareness) initiatives, the Radiology Department organized a highly informative and interactive session on “Breast Cancer Awareness & Mammography System – Amulet Innovality.”

The session was arranged by Dr. Huda Sajid, Head of the Radiology Department, with the valuable collaboration and technical support of M/s. Fujifilm Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd. It took place on Thursday, 16th October 2025, at the Conference Room, Katrak Maternity Wing, and was attended by consultants, doctors, Bio-Medical and members of the radiology team.

The purpose of the session was to enhance medical professionals’ understanding of early breast cancer detection through modern diagnostic imaging technologies. The representatives from Fujifilm Pakistan provided an in-depth overview of the Amulet Innovality Mammography System, highlighting its advanced imaging capabilities, precision, and role in improving diagnostic accuracy.

Participants were also given a hands-on demonstration, allowing them to observe the system’s functionality and practical application in real-time. This practical engagement not only increased technical familiarity among the staff but also emphasized the importance of early screening and timely diagnosis in reducing breast cancer mortality rates.

By conducting such awareness and training sessions, the Radiology Department reaffirms its dedication to empowering healthcare professionals, promoting preventive healthcare, and strengthening our collective commitment to women’s health and well-being.
