Lady Dufferin Hospital had the privilege of hosting a group of 25 pre-medical students from Usman Allawala Intermediate College, Dehli Colony, dated on 24th January, 2026 for an educational visit aimed at enhancing their understanding of the healthcare environment. The visit was carefully designed to provide comprehensive insights into maternal and child healthcare services, clinical workflows, and the importance of practical exposure in medical education.

During the visit, students were given guided tours of key hospital departments, including the Laboratory, CT Scan Unit, Ultrasound Department, Microbiology Laboratory, OPD, and the Labour Room & also Cowasjee School of Midwifery. This hands-on exposure allowed students to observe diagnostic procedures, patient care processes, and maternal health services in a real clinical setting. The visit served as a valuable learning experience, helping students connect academic concepts with practical healthcare delivery while gaining a deeper appreciation of the vital role hospitals play in safeguarding the health of mothers and children.
