A hands-on certification workshop on Adult CPR was successfully organized by Cowasjee School of Midwifery – Lady Dufferin Hospital Karachi in collaboration with the Pakistan Life Savers Organization dated on 25th June, 2025. The event brought together 100 community midwives from various midwifery schools across Karachi, alongside many in-service midwives and Lady Health Visitors (LHVs).

Participants received practical training in life-saving CPR techniques, aimed at strengthening emergency response skills within midwifery and community healthcare services.

This initiative marks an important step toward enhancing the capacity of midwives and LHVs to respond to critical emergencies, ensuring safer outcomes for the communities they serve.
